great tablet,
I bought this tablet because I wanted something to use for internet and watching videos etc. without having to get the laptop out. Having been using it for a while now, I’m really pleased with the performance.
The screen is good, its pretty sensitive and you can easily scroll up and down and ‘swipe’ through pages or pictures etc. I like the Android OS, it’s easy to use and it supports Flash which is good for watching videos.
I use it for travelling as it’s handy for music, videos, sending the odd email and I’ve also used it as an ebook reader. The battery life is fine, I get 2 maybe 3 hours from it depending on what I’m doing.
Overall I’m really happy with it for what I paid, I didn’t want to spend hundreds on an Ipad and this is obviously not quite an Ipad, but at about a sixth of the price, I think it’s really good value and does exactly what I need it to.

MiniGadget MG638 Android tablet,
I purchased the MiniGadget from JLR-Online last week. I wanted a cheap tablet type device as a Christmas present for my lad who is currently 9.The only problem is that it’s so good he might not get it!
It arrived 2 days after placing the order by courier.
I have spent quite a bit of time looking for the right device. The combination of features and price made me decide to choose this one over a similar device that I think was made by Tabtech.
Straight out of the box it started up without any problems and it was seriously easy to connect to the internet.
It comes with a UK adaptor which is quite unusual it seems. Many have a Euro plug with an adaptor.
The screen is crisp and clear and is very responsive to finger pressure, it’s easy to navigate around.
It feels well constructed, not at all cheap.
There are lots of apps pre-installed for you to tinker around with, a video player and music player,Youtube app and E reader to name a few of many.
The Angry Birds app seems to be a benchmark for the processor performance I noticed on other reviews of other devices, it plays this game perfectly.
I haven’t as yet taken a look at the UK market for app downloads so can’t comment on that but I believe it is the UK version you have access to.
It isn’t a 300 quid tablet but I can’t see why you would want one anyway, this does pretty much everything you could need from a portable device. It fits in your pocket, super portable and convenient.
I spent about 2.5 hours looking at the web last night, forgot to plug in the adaptor and it was still going strong when I finally came off so you can probably expect this much as a minimum from the battery.
Before I ordered this tablet I had one of similar cost from a well known supermarket. It was really pretty useless. Very poor screen, you needed a stylus as a finger didn’t cut it. The OS kept freezing and required numerous reboots. It went back after 1 day.
So go get one from JLR-Online if you want an affordable portable device with lots of good bits you won’t be disappointed.
Recommend the device and the seller too.
Enjoy

Excellent for the price,
I must admit i didn’t expect much for the money but for a platform to let my youngest to access apps and play his songs i was happy to take the chance. Overall i was very impressed and it did everything it said it would. Obviously it is no ipad but you are not paying for an ipad. Good service and delivery. Thanks.
